Details:
Bowling Garrard is a long-established traditional family firm, with its roots dating back to 1925. Managing Director Paul Stokes has worked for the company since being taken on as an apprentice in 1963. His son Aaron is Company Secretary.
Paul Stokes says: "We are proud to be Colchester's longest established electrical
contractors. Over the years we have built up excellent relationships with our customers, who return time and time again to utilise our services."
Bowling Garrard carries out all types of electrical work and specialises in the inspection and testing of installations, including fire alarms, emergency lighting and portable appliances.
Operating out of offices in Crowhurst Road in Colchester, the firm uses all the latest technology and is fully computerised, allowing designs and drawings for electrical installations to be created in-house.
It is affiliated to the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) and National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC). As such, it has to meet the Industry's Codes of Practice and carry out all work according to British Standard BS 7671, and is ISO 9000 registered
